  1. €125,000 STP License (Reception & Transmission, Execution of orders on behalf of clients, Portfolio management, Investment advice).
  2. €730,000 Market Maker License (Reception & Transmission, Execution of orders on behalf of clients, Portfolio management, Investment advice, Underwriting and placing of financial instruments on a firm commitment basis, Dealing on Own Account, Operation of Multilateral Trading Facility)

Overview:

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the financial regulator that supervises the investment/financial services in UK. The UK legal framework uses the established rules and regulations for investment firm licensing under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) and also complies with the EU laws such us the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

Getting an FCA license creates good reputation for the firms which add value on their business, as the UK regulator is a highly respected around the world

Requirements:

  1. Be incorporated in UK.
  2. At least two (2) Directors must be hired whom must demonstrate knowledge and experience and must pass the “fit and proper” test of the FCA
  3. Local resident staff members shall be hired on a full-time basis to fulfill the key functions of the Company, depending on the complexity and the activities performed.
